Brief update from Panama.
The coronavirus positive number increased up to 6,720, 192 died, as of Today 1st of May 2020.
According to the conference on 27th April, the effective reproductive number of Panama went up again beyond 1 and it is now estimated to be 1.15. It had been estimated below 1 a week ago.
18,370 people were detained in April for breaking the lockdown regulation. (The national population is around 4.2 million. One of each 228 persons got detained! Well, it must be a cumulative number..)
Tomorrow, a normal Saturday, would be again a obligatory total lockdown. 4th week for men to lose its important 2 hours of activities.
